3rd LCRBM. Spicy malty flavor. Slightly citric. No specific aroma adding to the depth and character of this beer. Medium bodied. Certainly not bad but not outstanding in any way.

Beer made for the Waregemse Bierfanaten since 2007. The name is a local dialect for the greenfinch but also means someone who talks nonsense (at least this is what these people made me believe, I’m not that familiar with their dialect). Thin but creamy, yellowish white, quickly opening head, colour a bright yellowish blond with low fizz. Aroma of apple, chamomille, lemon, honey, iron, leafy hops. Quite neutral onset, minerals, pretty strong carbo, smooth and weakish pale malt sweetness, limited citrus freshness, light spicy hops in the finish but rather thin mouthfeel. Lacks both body and personality.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrus, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, citrus, and a bit of malt, leading to a lightly bitter finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Golden beer, with a greenish shine; small, off-white head. Very grainy nose, with garden herbs aroma. Again typically grainy in the taste, raw grain rather than malt. Dull. Light MF, probably less than really the case - unless this is very much fermented out, with a very low apparent gravity. Empty & dull.
