Bottle. Brown color. Artificial raspberry and lemon in the aroma. Sweet perfumed herbal hoppy flavor with lemon, raspberry and coreander. Too perfumed to be really enjoyable.

1/VIII/15 - 33cl bottle from De Zytholoog / Bierloods (Adegem) @ holidays - BB: VIII/2012 (2015-1028)
Significantly better than it's regular cousin, this one-time special brew. Clear dark amber to red brown beer, irregular creamy beige head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, raspberries, sweet, bit oxidized, malty touch. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bit metallic, quite some raspberries, slightly sweet, sourish, bit oxidized. Aftertaste: bitter, metallic, raspberries, but nothing sweet. Oxidation (despite being 4 years older) is much lesser than with the regular version I had.

Special edition of Kerkom’s Bink Bloesem for the brewery’s 130th birthday but was actually brewed at Sint-Jozef. Creamy, pale beige, thin and quickly dissipating head, colour a dark brownish bronze, misty with little sparkling. Complex, sweetish aroma with a smoky hint and impressions of madera wine, honey, pear syrup, smoked meat, iron, coffee grounds, liquorice, chocolate, cloves, soy sauce... Mellow rounded sweetness in the mouth with an orangey touch, honey and pear syrup coming up quickly as in the regular Bink Bloesem, soft carbonation, everything nicely woven into a caramelly and nutty malt base, smokiness appearing in the end (and frankly, a bit disturbing) together with the toasted bitterishness the regular version also has, as well as a bit of grassy hops, finishing long. Interesting but noticeably different from the regular version especially in its smoky touch.

Ordentlich. 10/8/9/9/4/9

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, copper golden coloured hue with floaties and a big and beige, dense foamy head. Moderately sweet malty and distinctively fruity aroma of raspberries, accompanied by yeasty and slightly dusty notes. Sweet flavour with sourish fruity and light-bitter influences, medium bodied with a smooth carbonation. Quite artificial fruity taste with underlying toasty malt and shy hints of caramel, quite perfumed fruity and toasty finish. Does not really work for me. 04.XII.09

Bottled. A deep red beer with an orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of raspberries as well as some notes of malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and some raspberries, leading to a dry alcoholic finish. Thanks fonefan for sharing.

Bottle, 7.1%. Fruity aroma, a little bubble gum, but not bad. Cloudy red and brown colour. Small head. The flavour is dry and fruity with a little burning alcohol in the finish. Seems a bit perfumy, but not necessarily artificial.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Comes as "Kerkom Speciaal Ka(ta)rakter brouwsel Bink Bloesem" as a 130 year jubilee beer for Kerkom - and clearly credited to this brewery. Clear deep amber with a thick beige head. Fruity and very perfumy nose. Medium body, very perfumy and berry-like, also yeasty and phenollic. Astringent and dry finish. 211009
