Bottle. Color: Hazy golden, large frothy white head. Nice lacing. Aroma: Yeasty, grainy, some hop, some citrus fruit. Taste: Yeasty, spicy and floral notes, grainy, malty sweetness, hoppy backbone. Subtle citrus fruit and stone fruit. Just above medium body, quite dense for this style. Just below average carbonation. Dry spicy / peppery, sweetish and grainy finish. Moderate to over moderate sweet, moderate bitterness. Nice.

Bottle from Brugs Bierfestival.
A: clear dark golden, small, off-white head.
A: rye, apple peel, olive oil, parsley, raw spinach, old biscuit.
T: sweetish red apple, green olive, bitter rye, toast, herbs.
F: peppery & herbal hops, bitter spinach & apple peel, bit sour.
P: medium body, oily texture, fizzy carbonation.
Bit funny in aroma, but not bad; enjoyable dry character.

Fully clear metallic pale copper beer under a stable, whipped eggwhite-like head, lacey. Clear, crisp but unassuming malts; some toasted. Hints at almonds, sweet caramel, parsley. More of the same in the flavour. Malty, with caramel and spicy, herbal notes. Slightly burning MF, quite slick; medium carbonation, not very well-bodied. Strange... An attempt to recreate the filtered bières de garde from the 80-90's? Thx to Stef!

Pours a clear blonde, no real head. Scent is raw, saison phenols, just a touch of hoppy herbaceous notes. Taste is smooth, relatively mild bitterness. Tad sweetness remains, bit wort-like. not sure this is how it's ment to be. saison phenols are pronounced though. Seems uncomplete regarding fermentation ?
