Bottle: Poured a pitch black color stout with a medium dark brown foamy head with OK retention and some lacing. Aroma of roasted malt with some rich chocolate notes with some notes of cinnamon/vanilla and slightly spicy chilis. Taste is also a mix of rich collate malt notes with some well balanced cinnamon and vanilla with light spicy chili notes in the aftertaste. Body has a creamy/oily texture with good carbonation with no real discernible alcohol notes. Well balanced mix of flavors.

750mL bottle. Pours black with minimal tan head. Aroma mostly chocolate and cinnamon. Flavour dark chocolate, cinnamon, dark brown sugar. Mouthfeel quite smooth. Pretty even-handed with the dessert flavours. Very nice.

Dark brown. Not much head. There's a lot of chocolate, ancho and cinnamon. Slightly vegetal as well. On the palate, comes across medium body for an impy, but still has a lot of sweetness. Lots of chocolate. The ancho is mild, then there's more vanilla than I got on the aroma. Cinnamon seems more downplayed. Coffee maybe in the finish.
