We took our Jasper recipe, a DIPA using Citra throughout the entire process, and added Nelson to accompany Citra in the dry hop.

Juicy tropical fruits with a brace of light pine holding the sweetness in check, leading to white wine/grape and light mineral. Seemingly supple, deep malts but not too sweet, adding a delicate honey-like character to the mix.
Big, herb-laced white grape with reasonably pillowy malts and great depth, drying out nicely on the finish with unripe tropical fruit skin, light pine and light mineral. As with most Jaspers, the Citra and pale malts keep it juicy and balanced without too much acidity. Nelson here isn't too herbal, either, which is nice.

Can (4/22/26) from the brewery. Opaque orange juice, tons of sparkle, decent head with good retention, light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus over white grape and lighter herb. Taste is strong citrus (orange), white grape with background herb, bready background. Smooth, chewy texture within a relatively light body (seems like a contradiction), soft carbonation, and lightly yeasty, mild bitter finish. Got a lot of good stuff out of the Nelson. Very nice, super smooth.

16 oz can in a trade with tfontana. Much, MUCH thanks. Beautiful, fresh scent of Nelson giving a touch of white grapes, hay with a mildly passionfruit-ish hint. Flavor follows with light citrus zest left on the tongue.
Plenty of white grape notes and a tad of grassiness. Quite delicious. This right here is how I like Nelson!!

Nagy, tartós, hófehér hab, opálos, fakósárga szín. Citrusos, narancsos, citrushéjas illat. Lágy, citrusos, narancsos, szőlős, fenyős ízek. Közepesen testes, közepesen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Nagyon finom, egyensúlyos sör.

0,473l can from KCM Ruoholahti. Canned 4/16. Murky yellow beer with medium, stable and bit cloudy head. Aroma and flavor is hops, citrusy and stone fruits, dank and quite hoppy profile. Good one.

Nice and fresh fruity juicy action but prefer the Peacharine version just before this, has a nice medley of tropical and citrusy fruity notes but no real Nelson character for me, same malty backbone and solid hoppy finish.

Draft at Paragon, 1/14/25. Fully hazy yellowish-orange color, off-white head, streaky lace. Juicy and sweet. Orange, mangonion, pineapple, and grapefruit. Very juicy, citrusy. Fairly sweet, mildly dry. Tasty juice.

Almost tastes milky in a sense. Nelson is there. Lots of Citra lemon too. Definitely strange alkaline vibe here. Murky yellow pour with ok head. Hop tang green onion finish. Tap at Churchkey.

Goblet at the roost is straight pulp. Nose has oranges and grapefruit, mild tropicals and green grapes. Flavor has wheat and orange and grasses and herbs. Medium bodied, starchy and bitter.
