440ml can. Jet black colour with small, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, dark brown head. BA supported, roasty and slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of wafers, dark chocolate, Bourbon, burnt caramel. Taste is sweet-ish chocolately and bitter roasty, dark malty, notes of burnt caramel, Bourbon, some dark chocolate, hints of wafers, some alcohol; minimally warming, alcoholic finish. Viscous texture, smooth and slightly cloying palate, fine, soft carbonation. Quite boozy, not overly complex, minimally unpleasant roasty bitterness - not really convincing.
44cl can. A black beer, low tan lacing. Aroma of sweet dark malt, chocolate, coffee, some wood. Taste of sweet strong dark chocolate malt, vanilla, bourbon, wood. Sticky finish.

Can. Oily, low head. Boozy, solvent barrel nose. Medium full body, milk chocolate/Kaba, medium full, some booze, lumumba, almond, solvents, phenolic notes, fun idea, but too dirty. --- Beer merged from original tick of GSIS on 11 Jun 2023 at 19:05 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6. Can, tiny off-white head. Huge green apple in the aroma, nice stroopwaffel touches, alcohol. Stroopwaffel flavoring saving a failed acetaldehyde and paint riddled stout that was potentially destroyed by aging in the taste. Oh and there's alcohol... soft at least and creamy body. Huh, the label is fantastic, the beer... not.

Can. Black color with off-white head. Aroma is big booze, green apple phenols, dash of caramel, roasty malts. Taste is green apple phenol booze, then caramel, some stroopwaffel flavours indeed, but then the booze takes over again. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. A bit weird.

Can. Color: Black, very thin brown head. Aroma: Roasted malt, boozy and fruity Whiskey, vanilla. Taste: Sweetish, spicy and fruity Bourbon, caramel, vanilla and wood notes. Roasted malt, smooth mouthfeel, well balanced. Very subtle stroopwaffle notes. Over medium to full body, low carbonation. Luckily not overly sweet like a lot of other Bourbon BA Imperial Stouts. Boozy finish. Very nice.

Geringe Karbonisierung. 8/13/11/12/12/12
