750mL bottled Feb 15, 2022, drunk Aug 11, 2024. Clear, darker golden-copper. Small, white head, moderate-to-low retention. Fruity, vivacious, Tilquin-esque nose (mild acids, very fruity, nicely mellowed lactic character, little/no acetic, little/no funk, moderately oaky). Clean, crisp, clear and polished with pineapple and other light tropical fruits, light biscuit and wheat and not much funk. Similar flavor, polished, bright, tart, with mild Brett adding some tropical fruit notes and mellow lactic acidity. Oaky and with good tannin and wheat slickness/softness. Clean and flavorful. Just wish there was a bit more funk. Suggestions of Boon-like apple notes.

Poured from a 750 ml, 2021 / 2022 vintage bottle. Aroma is somewhat fruity with notes of apricots, nectarines and lemon with hints of pear. Light earthy, herbal mustiness. Light oak notes. Light grain notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, copper-orange color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with a light acidity and light grain notes. Low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Medium light earthy, herbal mustiness. Medium light lemon and stone fruit notes. Light oak notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid gueuze. I like this better than the Jean-Paul as it's a bit less fruity and a bit more complex. It has a little more funkiness as well. Very crushable.

Bottle. Clear deep golden, small white head. Some dried fruits, but also a ton of cheesy cellar, oak, white wine and a hint of sulphur. It has a lot of 'old' oaked cellar notes, but there's a fruity brightness that lives it up. Medium sweet and sour. Solid medium bodied but the somewhat dry finish and below average carbonation make it feel more light. Lovely geuze.
