Draft @ Tilquin English Beer Festival '23.

29/IV/23 - on tap @ Tilquin English Beer Fest, BB: n/a (2023-369) Thanks to all for sharing today’s beers!
Little cloudy blond to light orange beer, creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: lots of coriander up front, a bit malty, grains, hay, some banana, yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body, creamy texture. Taste: sweet start, a bit malty, floral, gentle bitterness, ripe banana. Aftertaste: a little sourish, lots of coriander, sweet touch, more ripe banana.

Can from Westhill Service Station. It pours hazy golden - blonde with a decent white head. The aroma is fragrant, hay, coriander seed, green banana, tangy, orange marmalade, warming clove rock and some cola cubes. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, bitter - sweet grassy, straw, fragrant coriander seed vibes, green banana, touch of banana split, hay, wheat crackers and brioche wit a dry, cereal finish. Average body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rounded and satisfying.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden/bronze body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of white bread, mandarin, coriander and peach. Flavour of orange pith, white bread and red apple. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Light fizz. It’s soft and fruity, really delicious. Possibly my favourite so far from Newbarns. Wish I had a few more cans.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy golden yellow. Big creamy white head. Nose - the ingredients don't mention coriander or orange but I distinctly get coriander seed and a whiff if something citrus. Also creamy wheat. Taste - creamy orange and spice. Peach yoghurt. Palate - light bodied, creamy and dry finish. Overall - decent. Not sure I could tell it had Bere in there.
