Quite pale, slight haze, thin head. Thin body, med bitterness, a slight toasty wood note. Simple and a bit light.

16oz can at share. Clear golden pour, nice full foamy white head, lacing. Clean grainy aroma, bready, floral. Taste is malty and sweet, bready, crisp with some grassy flavors. Well done pilsner.

Can from Corti Bros. Pours clear, bright gold with a large, but transient white head. Aroma of bread/yeast and grass/spice. And maybe wood. Med plus body. Flavor is yeasty with grass/spice and some sort of herb/green thing. Oak astringency with wood notes. Dry in a lightly yeasty bready sort of way. Bitter enough to suggest burns. Really, really good.

Pours golden with a ever so slight haze under a tall white head. Super “fresh” aroma with lightly sweet berries, lemon, light cereal grain. Flavor is similar with just a little bit of tang to it, floral notes and a little more citrus. Finish is slightly dry and snappy. This is a fantastic beer.

On tap at Fort George - Lovell Taproom, pours a clear blonde with a medium white head. Aroma brings out herbaceous, grassy hops, some oak, and straw. Flavour is grassy and herbal, with plenty of dry oak, which is unusual for a pils — grassy, herbaceous, and straw-like. A little too herbaceous for my tastes but still solid.

Can. Pours a clear straw yellow with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma is grassy with earthy hay and a light dankness underlying.

16 ounce can. Pours a totally clear yellow color with a large white head that dies down. A nice sweet pils nose, light oak. Soft, perfume, light lemons, big dusty pils malts. Clean as hell, flavorful. Light wood in the tail. Very good. MJ or 3/4 would have loved this one.

16 oz from a four pack. Aromas of pine, latex, freshly chopped wood, herbal tea. Pours crystal clear golden with a one finger bone-white head with great retention. Taste has a moderate herbal hop bitterness, lightly sweet, finishing pretty dry. The barrel character is a bit more subtle than I was expecting, but it comes through lightly in that fresh chopped wood character. Carbonation is a bit soft. A superb modern pils using old fashioned methods. I love it.

Fort George Cathedral Tree Barrel Fermented Pilsner 4.8% Straw gold with a fizzy head and a nice spicy herbal hop bouquet. My favorite thing about this beer is the lovely soft body. Easy drinking with herbal spicy hops and pale Pilsner malts.

Gold body with white head. Grassy aroma. Full malted body with a little spice. Full finish.
