440ml can from Chez Sophie. Pours clear deep gold, good rocky white head. Aroma of gently sweet malt. Wonderfully presented flavour profile of largely sweet malt with gentle caramel glimpses and bitter biscuity moments. Lovely.

Cask at the North Brew bar, Birmingham, 18/02/23. Clear golden copper with a decent just off white head. Nose is dried fruits, biscuit, caramel, light floral notes, bready tones. Taste comprises caramel, bready notes, toasted grains, herb, straw, hint of orange peel. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close semi drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Golden by name but not style ... a golden bitter, not an RB golden blonde, sometimes you need to taste a beer to understand and relate the style. Solid cask affair.

440ml can. Clear golden, white head. Aroma of biscuity, grain, caramel malts. Taste of biscuity, slightly nutty grainy malts, sweet caramel, with a decently bitter hoppy finish. Actually a really nice golden.
