Formerly known as Dry Hopped Stout.
Dark and hoppy. It shouldn’t work but it does. A duo of Columbus and Simcoe dry hops deliver big citrus and pine. Balanced out by chocolate and coffee notes from roasted malts with a solid bitterness that leaves you wanting more.
Malts: Pilsner, Rye, Wheat, Flaked Oats, Roasted Barley, Biscuit 50.
Hops: Simcoe, Columbus

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 15B, adapted, no alcohol, dry hopped). Can 33 cl - Batch VF2862 (BBF 14/03/2023). AROMA: medium hop aroma with pine and slight citrusy notes. medium-low roasted malt background with coffee-and-cream and slight chocolate. slight sweet under attenuated character in the background. APPEARANCE: light brown color and clear. medium-low light brown head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: medium hop aroma with pine and slight grapefruit notes. medium-low to low roasted notes with dark coffee character. high bitterness with a bitter finish with slight roastiness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low to low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an interesting dry hopped stout even more so since its 0.0 ABV.

Can from the brewery online shop. Pours clear dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of light chocolate and burnt orange. Taste is earthy, light pine, roast. A little thin maybe, but otherwise good.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Cork & Cask online. Pours clear, black-brown with a foamy, khaki head. Light sweet flavour with decent roast, earth, toasted pine, orange, grapefruit, burnt grain. Light bodied with average carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, some ashy bitterness, more burnt pine, citrus rind. Very nicely done.

330ml can. Clear dark brown with beige head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate and piney hops. Taste of bitter roast malts, coffee, caramel, chocolate, and a big piney resinous hop character that brings this close to BIPA territory. Light bodied but fuller than their pales. An impressive AF stout.

Can from Brulo online shop. Brown body with ruby highlights and a thin beige head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of rust, blood orange and cranberry. Flavour of chocolate, stewed tea and a bitter, berry-like finish. Thin body with a slick texture. Light fizz. Sharp and interesting.
