Ossian Oatmeal Stout is rich, dark and packed full of coffee, coca and roasted malt flavours. Bitter and sweet notes are perfectly balanced, with a smooth, creamy finish for the perfect stout experience.

Nitro. Smells of roast malt, chocolate. Flavor is roasty and chocolatey with a little coffee. Itβs on the dry side but not as dry as, say, a Guinness. Smooth.

Cask handpull at The County Hotel JDW Ashford. Black beer lasting beige head. Some chocolate on the aroma. Some blackcurrant blackberry flavour. Some dryness in the mouth. Some fullness too. Fairly drinkable stout. Yep fine.

Cask at Standing Order, Derby. Pours very dark reddish-brown with a small tan head and good lacing. The aroma has coffee and roast malts. In the mouth it starts off slightly sweet and a tad watery but creaminess and roast malts soon come through. Flavour has chocolate and some hints of cola, oats and coffee. Some bitterness in the finish. This is quite nice.

Cask @ The Richard Oastler, Brighouse. Very dark brown with a light-brown head. Understated stout with a more dark malt profile than roasted.

Draft, pint. @Innis & Gunn Brewery Taproom, Glasgow (Scotland). 11/08/2023 [#6.733 Global - #267 Scotland - #2 Inverlamond Brewery] Pours black with a thick and lasting tan head. Aroma: dark chocolate, roasted malts, liquorice and mild vanilla. Taste: again dark chocolate and roasted malts leading to a smooth roasted mouthfeel. Bit thin but overall is Ok. Next one please!
