A blend of 20 month & 30 month old golden ales brewed with malted barley and raw wheat. Spontaneously fermented and aged in neutral French oak barrels. We refermented the beer on Wojtek honeyberries from Dundee, Scotland. The beer was on fruit for 2 months with regular punch-downs during the initial stages of fermentation. It was then blended back with further barrel components before bottling.

750ml bottle pours a deep honey color with some creamy, white head. Nose and flavor have cocoa and grapes, barrel. Malt. It's a bit overdone on all levels, mostly the barrelling. Full bodied finish. Could be a bit more nuanced.

Bottle pour at MBCC 2023, pours a cloudy dark red with a small white head. Aroma brings out wild yeast, oak, and thorny, pithy stone fruits. Flavour is thorny and pithy, with lots of stone fruits, thorns, and wild yeast. A bit too thorny. Decent.
