Pouring burnt yellow with heavy haze, Devil’s Chair is packed with hop aromas of candied orange slices, watermelon, and subtle pine from the diabolical combination of Galaxy, Nelson Sauvin, and Chinook. The palate begins with flavors of mixed citrus and mild toasted grains, and ends with a sweet white wine character. Expect a velvety mount Greek and a resinous, yet restrained, bitterness. Enjoy in the demonic seat of your choosing.

Pours a hazy, orange-peach, with mid-sized head. Aroma is tropical fruit and citrus. Flavor follows. Not overly sweet. Nice, soft mouthfeel. Mild hop bitterness in the finish. Good one.

Pours murky gold into a tulip. Bright white head with good retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Hot melon and lychee aromas. Crisp with strawberry and watermelon jolly ranchers upfront turning to white smarties before the lasting mild pine finish.

Taster pour on tap at Munchie Madness festival, 2022. It's an opaque yellow with no sparkle, finger-width white head with good retention and nice ring of lacing. Aroma is nice creamy orange--creamsicle. Taste is orange creamsicle with mild herbal. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, pretty good. though herbal and creamsicle seem odd bedfellows. Not surprisingly, the Galaxy presents as mainly herbal to me, though orange creamsicle seems odd given the other hops.

Reunion draught, 8/30/22. Heavily hazy, apricot-peach, fluffy, white head, moderate retention. Juicy galaxy nose leaning on more the cherry pine than the white wine, mineral and funk but the Nelson contributes some white grape and light sulphur. Sticky, honey-,like malts with no flaw or alcohol. Clean yeast. Soft, sticky, chewy, juicy orange candy and cherry with a pine finish. Some sweet white grape. Not exactly the pinnacle of these hops but great maltiness, cleanliness and good attenuation without too much pine.
