Our pals at Overtone paid a visit to our Edinburgh brewery and together we created Overnight Oats, our thick and creamy golden oat-based breakfast beer. Jam packed with juicy blueberries, raspberries and açaí, this fruit forward sensation is enough to get you excited for an early start. We’ve then added freshly roasted coffee beans from Edinburgh Tea & Coffee, alongside a generous helping of maple syrup and lactose for a truly authentic milky sweetness.

Can. Clear raspberry colour beer, small pink head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, good fine minerally carbonation. A pretty light malt base allows the nicely fruity berries to shine through, the Acai adding an exotic touch. Some very mild maple sweetness rounds the berry tartness off nicely. Coffee is invisible to me. Nice berry brew.

Аромат очень яркий и сложный. Сладко весьма по первой, много шоколада, ванили, какого то десерта, кленовый сироп, намеки на ягоды, такие как малина и яжевика, но кофе не нашел лично, хотя его заявляют. Цвет очень красивый и необычный, что то вроде яркого коричневого с примесью фиолетового. По текстуре прямо жир и реальный смузи. Вкус такой же, сладкий, много ванили и коголада с ягодами, из за чего кислинка в конце есть, кремовость и кленовый сироп, десертность общая. Но такие вкусовые ноты едва сдерживают общий баланс. Мощно конечно, и дорого.

21/12/2023. Keg at The Ale House Chelmsford Christmas Beer Festival. Pours dark crimson purple with a small pinkish white head. Aroma is blueberries, blackberries, raspberry, maple syrup, hints of coffee and beetroot. Moderate sweetness and medium sours. Medium body, average carbonation. Really good.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - murky red to purple. No head. Nose - various berries but raspberry prominent. Tart and funky edge. Taste - raspberry again, some blueberry at the back. Tart and funky. Palate - light to medium bodied, tart and funky middle and finish. Overall - good.

Cloudy red with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have raspberry sweets and a whack of alcohol. Tangy finish.
