440ml can, #582, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Steady pearl white head, misty yellow-gold body, rings of lace down the glass. Promising aromas of grass, wheat, and grain added by a citric note. Fine bleded taste of grapefruit, wheat, and soft malts followed by piney bitterness towards the ending. Fine depth. Like it. (Tromsø, 18.08.2023).

7-4-8-4-16 Can, #582, three weeks after canning. Pours hazy dark yellow, with a big creamy head. Aroma is caramel malts with bread and toffee, as well as piney hops with citrusy notes of orange, grapefruit and grassy minerals. Full body, with soft to average carbonation. Flavour is piney hops with orange peel, grapefruit, stone fruits and grassy notes, as well as caramel malts with syrupy bread, toffee and heathery minerals. Sweet, fairly short hoppy finish.

En ny Salikatt, og hvor nyter man vel den bedre enn hjemme i solkroken en fantastisk lørdagskveld i juni? Uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Liflig aroma og intens, herlig smak med plenty av furunål/kvae og godt modne tropiske frukter ispedd noen båter fra en spansk bitterappelsin.
