Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up from Da Hapna. Label only says “Patriot 11 Svetly Lezak” and ABV is 4.5%. Pours well clear honey-gold with a modest, foamy white head. Light sweet flavour with notes of crispy, sun-kissed cereal, bread, biscuits, mild bitter hay and grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, more biscuity pale malts, a touch of salty sourdough, grass. Tasty.

Optisch zeigt sich klares Bernstein mit kräfiger feiner Perlage. Die weiße, fein- bis mittelporige Schaumkrone gibt sich dabei flaumig und langlebig. Der Duft gibt einen süßlichen, karamelligen, zart röstigen Charakter mit einem leicht butterigen Unterton wieder. Der Antrunk kommt frisch, angenehm spritzig und karamellig bis röstig malzig. Für seine 4,6% Alkohol überaus vollmundig. Schöne, getreidige bis leicht röstige Karamellnoten überzeugen den Gaumen. Dazu ein leicht würziger Charakter und eine angenehme Hopfenaromatik, welche ein ganz gutes Gesamtbild zaubern - auch wenn es relativ einfach und unspektakulär wirkt. Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit können dabei absolut überzeugen. Im Nachtrunk bauen die karamelligen Noten relativ rasch ab und eine ganz angenehme und zarte Hopfenherbe macht sich breit. Mein Fazit: Für ein aromatisch einfach gehaltenes Bier, absolut gut!

Nice golden color leaning on classic amber. Foam is large and white when filling, but falls fast enough. The bottle and the label are not up to date, but at least it has half a liter :) Aroma: Yeast, hops hardly feel. There is much more to the taste of hops, characteristically, delicately, in the Czech-style. In spite of its low content, it is not watery, it is slightly carbonated. Basic Czech pilsner, not the most outstanding, but very delicate, I like these.***
Klasszikus borostyánba hajló szép arany szín. Hab kitöltéskor nagy és fehér, de elég gyorsan apad. Az üveg és a cimke nem haladt a korral, de legalább van benne fél liter :) Élesztős, malátás illat, komló alig érződik. Ízre már jóval több a komló, karakteresen, finoman, cseh-módra keserű. Kis beltartalom ellenére nem vizes, kevéssé szénsavas. Alap cseh pilsner, nem a legkiemelkedőbb,de nagyon finom, kedvelem az ilyeneket.

Best before okt 26, 2004. Grassy, somewhat soapy flavor. Thinnish, with a hint of butter. Just a bit of hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Not all Czech beers are good.

Az a nehezen megfogalmazható bizonyos fajta keserűség volt benne, amit nem szeretek, mert a májkrémet juttatja eszembe.

Flasa. Vona jemne horka nezaujimava. Zlata farba pena padla. Chut postupne horkne inak vodova.
