Bottled (BB 11/2009)
Amber color, small off-white head. Very hayish, "cat piss" -hoppy aroma. Christmas spicey strong bitter - cinnamon is evident there plus lots of different American hops. Fresh hoppy "Christmas" beer, but not my cup of tea, couldn’t drink in large quantities.

220ml well kept on tap at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen. Dark brown in colour under a beige head. Aroma gives a yuletide impression with smell of juniper and pine. Otherwise there is an explosion of hops in both aroma and flavour. The flavour has got good amounts of orange shells. Nice bitter ending. Very good (12.01.2007).

50/75 cL bottle. Pours unclear amber, white head, shortlasting. Smell is hops, clearly dominated by Cascade hops, sweetness and some malt. Taste is mainly hops with malt notes and caramel taste and sweetness. Spices are a bit more hidden. Slightly too hoppy for a christmas beer in my opinion 6-3-6-3-13=3.1

From cask at Ølbaren. Pours hazy orange with a little lacing light orange head. Slight orange and grapefruity aroma. Flavour is soft caramel malty and sweet with nice orange to grapefruity flavour on top. Finishes with a great bitterness and fruity flavours. Very soft.7-4-7-4-15=3.7

Dark unclear amber with little off white head. Aroma and taste of practically hops and hops only. American style of hops and plenty - I love it! Easy spicy tones - christmas stuff. Medium filling body with a bitter finish that lasts till next year. Fine lacings on the side of the glass. Great!

(Draught at Café Plan B, Copenhagen) Dark brown colour, hazy, with a brief off-white head. Fruity nose with dried fruit (prunes, raisins), grapefruit, spices (cardamom?) and loads of heavy hop aromas. Fruity and spicy taste with cardamom, clove, grapefruit and a dominating hoppy bitterness in the long finish. Lovely stuff.

Draught. Nice head with good duration. Color is cloudy brown. Aroma and taste is coffee and chocolate. This reminds me of a stout type beer.
