70 cl bottle from MiP. Thanks! Deep dark brown color. Roasted malt and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweetish flavor (mango, pear) at first, flowing into a roastbitter flavor with licorice. Full bodied, almost thick mouthfeel. Long but pleasant roast aftertaste with pear. Quite nice!

Bottle, BBD in 2004. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy but stable small off-white head. Clear aroma of malt, with notes of fruit, alcohol and yeast. Sweetish flavour of malt, caramel, fruit and chocolate. Hints of dust and yeast. Roasty and estary aftertaste. Well-matured. Nice. Very nice, indeed

Bottled. Deep ammbery brown colour with mediumsized beige fluffy head. Leaves some lace. Aroma is caramel malts, mild roasted notes as well as grass and some liquorice and chocolate. Flavour is quite much the same in a bit more complex way than the aroma. Pleasant to drink.

courtesy of Solan. Thanks a lot for sharing this ’03 bottle. Pours dark brown, beige head. Aroma, malty with some grassy notes, caramel and chocolate. Flavor definitely had an aged profile, lots of good malty yum and roast. Some lactose sweetness, caramel with chocolate, hints of spices and dark sugar.

This 2003 vintage is courtesy of TheCheeseMan, thanks again Dan! It pours mahogany with tan head. The aroma is rich milk chocolate to go along with a thin ribbon of caramel. It smells a bit like a chocolate milk shake, YUM! The flavor is ushered in with one of the creamiest mouth feels I can remember. It brings in delicious notes of milk chocolate, some dark chocolate and creamy caramel. Wow, this has aged wonderfully and is tastes great.
