Backlog April 2006. Unclear orange golden body under a medium sized white head. A bit weak in aroma, otherwise pretty standard wheat bee aroma, banana, cloves etc. The same goes for the taste, like a supermarket version of a wheat beer, standard flavor without faults but not particular interesting.

Bottle from MiP. Orange blonde color. Light orange and grape sugar aroma. Fruity, but also vinous and even sherry-like witbier type. Medium bodied. Fairly low on carbon. Hint of cardboard in the aftertaste. Interesting beer.

(Draught at Rosie McGee’s, Copenhagen, 25 Jan 2013) Hazy brownish yellow colour, with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of wheat, bread and dried fruit. Fruity, malty taste with slightly sourish wheat, dried fruit, bread and a slightly spicy finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with quite rounded mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Drinkable, but not too impressive.

On tap at random café. Hazy, light amber colour with a medium sized white head. Light fruity aroma with wheat, some cereals and a hint of caramel malts. Light sweet taste. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Short finish with wheat and hints of clove. Rather ordinary, almost boring, but still drinkable weizen.

On tap @ a random Copenhagen pub(did not get the name). This is a near clear golden one with a nice dense just off-white head. Not to much wheat on the aroma, I get apples and some mild acidity. Almost like a cider?. Near no wheat in the flavor either. It actually reminds me much of a normal carlsberg - just a bit sweeter, cloudier and added some yeasty banana. Have even I gotten the right beer? I don't know, but this was not a good wheat. 10.05.2012
