Bottle picked up from a random Getrankemarkt in Straubing and consumed at home Friday 14th March 2025 preparing Spinal, Ricotta and Pine Nut Cannelloni whilst listening to Squid - Coward and now Bob Mould - Here We Go Crazy. Pours mid gold, good clarity, large white head, however the head was short lasting just a thin rim and touch of film on the top now. A touch sweet from the off, nice soft mouthfeel, however actually thinking this could do with a bit more carbonation. There is a little light honey sweetness, a bit of bread. Yes it's another decent beer from Klett Bräu however would be better if the carbonation was lifted.

500 ml bottle. Clear golden with a stable foamy head. Pretzels, wheat bread, sourdough, hay, citrus, hay, some fruity and biscuity notes. Dry yet mild hoppy bitterness, malty grainy bready sweetness. Medium to full bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry grainy bready grassy bittersweet finish. An Export of my kind, very good!

Bottle from Max, thanks! Light golden color with a very nice lasting head. Nose is typically Helles with a light spiciness from earthy hops. Trending a bit sweet on the tongue, not too much hop bitterness, quite some grain/hay in the overall character. low complexity, but refreshing.

No serious aroma detected. Sweetish peach flavor, with malt and hints of hops, pepper and licorice. Clean, inoffensive, nice but lacks bite.

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Slightly grainy malty aroma with a doughy background. Slightly sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Pale malt-character with grainy influences; moderately sweet malty and shy hop bitter finish. Not far away from the Klett-Bräu Urhell. 02.X.09

Bottle: Golden, small fluffy - quickly collapsing - white head, lazy carbonation; delicate grainy nose with a touch of straw and a very subtle fruitiness; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied; light fruitiness returns in the moderate sweet-grainy and bitter finish, accompanied by a light lemony touch. Decent, but very restrained Helles.........
