Bottled 500ml (Alko)
Mahogny brown color, small off-white head. Caramel, dry bread and some sticky metallic and acidic notes. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted rye bread, caramel, saccarine in the flavor. Light grassy hoppyness. Sweetish bready dunkel is not my big favourite.

50cl bottle from Alko. Poured brown in color with a thick, dense off white head. Nice lacing. Bready malty, toasty with some weak metallic notes. Flavor has caramel, bready malts, toast and some sweetness. Long caramelly finish. A lovely dunkel, I really like the caramel in the flavor, balancing the beer and just enough sweetness. Will buy more of this

Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, caramel, grass and bitterness. Aftertaste was toasty and bitter. A nice dunkel.

Surprisingly light colour, a reddish brown, a head is big and blond. Taste is better than aroma and more balanced. Bread, herbs and even some liquirice. Dry enough. Medium bodied, fluffy and pleasant in the mouth. Quite tasteful beer.

500ml bottle from Ship & Mitre, Liverpool. Clear chesnut brown colour with thin beige head. Toast and malt aroma. Really good malts in mouth, give it a touch of sweetness. Some choc on aroma. Good toffee choc flavours. It’s a really good dunkel. Does everything really well. Could smell that toasty toffee choc all day. Some hop sting on finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours almost golden dark brown with a little reddish hue. Diminished tan head. Roasted malt and corn aroma, vague chocolate like note. Flavour is medium sweet with a solid roasted malt base going into a distinct acidic touch. Nice lingering almost breadish finish yet it stays light acidic and dry. Nice one.

(bottle) Clear mahogany and a diminishing frothy tanned head. Weak sweet caramel malty aroma with a hoppy note, slightly metallic. Sweet toastmalty taste, medium to light bodied, lively carbonated mouthfeel, dry and bitter hoppy short finish with notes of dark chocolate. Drinkable decent Dunkel.
