Can split at L6 Tasting, picked up from HOTM online, 22/03/23. Black topped with a tan cap that retains well. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, spice, toffee, dates. Taste comprises chocolate, caramel, mellow roast, toffee crisp, brown sugar melt, molasses. Full bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a kiss of alcohol. Tidy enough sipper if no wow.

Can. Dark brown, good creamy foam. Aroma: smell, caramel, chocolate, black bread and gingerbread, a little whiskey. Sweet taste, black bread, whiskey, dried fruits, wine, strong, good imperial stout.

330 ml can. Pours black with moderate tan head. Aromas of black coffee, dusty dark chocolate, dry vanilla, and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with a little smoke and just a touch of sweetness. A slow sipper.

Can shared in Canary Wharf - cheers! Pours clear, black-brown with a foamy, beige head. Medium to big sweet flavour with nicely layered dark malts, some ashy roast, dark fruits, raisins, black coffee, a little fudge, earth. Full bodied, lightly oily, with fine carbonation. Finishes with some charred malts, dark chocolate, raisins. Solid.

Can, 12.0%. Roasted aroma, good coffee notes. Black colour. Good frothy stable dark brown head. The flavour is very sweet with molasses and dark chocolate notes. Thick mouthfeel. Late coffee aftertaste. At first I thought it was too sweet, but it turns out it is great as a dessert.

Canary Wharf bottleshare. Thanks to Cloin. Opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth anf and semi dry finish, quite crisp. Vanilla dark malts, tangy rich dark fruits. Spicy finish.

Can shared at the columbus tasting 22/032023. Many thanks. A dark brown coloured pour with a loose dark tan head. Aroma is semi sweet, woody liquoruce, salty, treacel, Flavour is medium sweet, sticky brown liquoiurce, salt, , treacel. Flavour is composed of oily, nutty. Ok.
