Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours clear golden - blonde with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is deep funk , barnyard, musty, light mature, apple skin, crunchy apple, touch of melon, pear drops and damp oak. The taste is crispy, dry, bright, snappy, sweet - sour, ripe apple, dried apple, melon, pear drops, white grape dry oak, tannin, touch of fizzy sherbet, funk is more mellow than on the snout and leathery apple skin with a shirt, dryish finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Quite bright, fruity and funky. Moreish.

Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, caramel hint, funky, leather with drying bittersweet tannins. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Excellent by the books funky French cider.
