28/6/2023. Bottle shared by Colin, cheers. Pours vibrant dark red with a small frothy light pinkish head. Aroma of redcurrant, blackberry, raspberry, gooseberry, yoghurt, musty edge. Moderate sweetness and quite heavy sourness. Medium body, soft carbonation. Long sour berry citric finish. Perhaps an acquired taste but I enjoyed this.

Bottle. CW online. Lively on opening. Pours a hazed deep raspberry red. Super dense foam of dark pink. Nose has intense raspberry and jammy fruit. It’s like the Robert Carrier loganberry mousse me mum used to make. Like properly nailed on. Taste is tart and sharp, with some woody bitterness. Smoothie like on the palate, barring the acidity that kicks in. Really very dry and quite bitter. Foamy carbonation. Lingering tart bitterness to finish. Smells and looks fantastic, but it’s too acidic for me, overall. It’s like a beer of two halves.
