Flavor is sweet, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, cocoa, peanut, vanilla, bourbon, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation, sweet finish with some warming alcohol. 021124

Bottle from Base Camp, shared with Ogi & Hrabren. Almost pitch black, not much head, if any. Pungent aroma, peanut on caramelly, nutty maltiness, with some raisins, quite creamy, light alcohol too, low barrel notes. Leaner taste than expected, ending dry and bitterish. Smooth peanut and caramel notes, light raisins / grapes, herbal touches, some barrel touches. It's nice, but not wow material.

0.375 l bottle thanks to Marko who brought it from Prague, shared with Ogi and him. Oily dark brown, minimal head. Intense alcohol at first. Chocolate biscuit, some caramel. A touch of dried fruit, hints of peanut. Roasty, burnt, flavour, roasted nuts, brown bread, oak nicely present. Sticky, oily, sweet, strong, dull. Lasting finish.

Waxed and capped bottle. There is a little plastic string in the wax, which makes opening the bottle MUCH easier. First time I saw that invention was Zichovec bottles. Other breweries : please copy. Pitch black, dark brown head that does not last. Aroma is peanuts, roasted malts, coffee, bourbon, chocolate, cocoa. quite a mix of an aroma, reminds me of those cheap chocolate rolls or balls you could get at cake factories where they mixed up whatever leftovers they had from production and sold it to us kids for a very low price. There is a lot of peanut in the aroma. Flavor is peanuts, roasted malts, bourbon, later into the aftertaste the peanuts gets very strong, almost tastes like the candy bar snickers - so gets nuttier and sweeter and more chocolatey as it progresses. the far end reveals bourbon and roasted malts. alc% is totally hidden and the 14.5% is not noticed in any way, only (probably) adds body and character. Clearly the best peanut related imp stout I have tasted, i'm not that much into pasty stouts in the first place. This one is more peanut nutty than sweet, I like that a lot. Thank you a lot for going crazy experimental with a huge and already fantastic base beer.

0.330l bottle at Pien, Helsinki. Shared with tiong! Colour is Very dark brown with almost no head. Aromas and flavors: Cacao, dryness, some nuts, some coffee, roasted malts ... dry and massive Cacao.
