Our Groš is an honest full-bodied ten with a strong bitterness and a lingering bitterness added by Czech hops. Kazbek hops have been used here for third and cold hopping, giving this beer a fresh touch and a pleasant hop aroma complemented by notes of meadow flowers and citrus fruits.
The refreshing character of this draught beer places our ten among the very popular beverages of sportsmen, craftsmen and beer drinkers who, for various reasons, cannot "volume" too much at the moment.

# 3982; 12/2023. Malty, and light herbal aroma. Clear gold body; white head. Malty, herbal, citrus; sweeter body and strong bitter finish. Not very typical but still good bohemian light lager (desítka). 1 l, plastic bottle, supermarket, Pilsen (Bohemia, CZ).

1l PETka from the Albert in Most (Brüx). Almost certain the only Czech lager I have around right now, so this one goes to Günter (pivnizub) and Fred Waltman. Two huge Czech craft beer lovers and promoters, who've passed away within the last week or so, days between each other, two great guys I'm glad to have shared a beer or several with... Rudohor, btw, is named after Rudohoří, the old name for Erzgebirge (the old name of Krušné hory, that Krušnohor is named after!). And I know one person who would've loved this info. Clear golden body, shiny, off-white head. Malty, grainy aroma, with light herbal, lightly melony notes. Unusual. The taste confirms it, melon notes are definitely there, unusual hoppiness - oh and I see it's Kazbek, quite evident this wasn't ŽPČ-driven. Ending bitterish. Bit suffered for its PET, but clearly a good beer, though not typical Czech, as some would've liked it to be perhaps. Still, nazdár Güntrů, nazdár Fredů!

1l PET. Unclear dark golden with a fluffy head. Grassy hops, dry hoppy zesty notes, grapefruit, grain, hay, bread, biscuits, hints of vanilla and butter. Dry hoppy bitterness, some grainy sweetness. Medium to light bodied, oily watery texture, lively carbonated, dry zesty hoppy bittersweet finish. Outstanding 10!

Bottle shared with JMD and ED on board Fridtjofen 03.08.20. Clear straw colour. Foamy, dense and persistent white head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of meadowy hops, lemon, succade and pilsner malt. Crisp mouthfeel.

PETka from Kralupská Pivotéka U Chameleona. Straw-golden yellow with a tall white head. Light-bodied with a lovely malty background and quite a big amount of Saaz hops, very fragrant and aromatic, with shy citrusy hints and a lingering bitter-Saazy finish. A superb desítka full of flavour!
