Can 33 cl. Vintage 2022 at 13% ABV. Pours an opaque, dark from with only a tiny film of a beige head. Lovely nose of overripe, dark fruit and a distinct woody and rummy note. Rich, sweet body, same notes as above, but also some slight glue from a not so perfect barrel. But if it doesn't develop any further its still acceptable. Again sweet and woody with a warming alcohol finish. 050723

Tap at Prague Beer Fest 2023, thx! The 13% / 2022 version. Murky dark brown body, off-white head. Pungent aroma, rum dominates, but some barrel shows up too, on the side of older wood. Sweet, heavy taste, brown sugar, rum, spicy, quite nice, definitely a dessert beer, a slow sipper as Rune says, not an ideal festival beer hahahah. Still, very respectable and glad I'd had it!

330ml can, #446, 13 % abv, 2022 version, from Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. Shared with Finn. Patches on the surface of an unclear dark brownish body, scattered lacing. Inviting smell of dried fruits with a scent of rum. Mixed taste profile of dried fruits, wood, rum, and doughy malts. Dried fruity ending, still with an impact of rum, warmth from the alcohol. Rather sweet, and quite heavy to drink. Anyway, satisfying slow sipper qualities. (Tromsø, 28.3.2023).

Årg. 2022. 13%. Spandert av Rune. Delt i WCveien. Dyp brun. Skumring med litt farge. Lett romaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken tørket frukt. Sherry. Tørr rom i avslutninga. Alkoholen godt kamuflert.

Can at home. As 13% ABV. Has a very dark brown colour with a fast diminishing beige head. Aroma of rum, creme brulee, oak, leather, sap and liqueur. Flavour of rum, oak, creme brulee, prunes and leather. Has a silky and sticky mouth feel, full-bodied and a soft bitterness. Sweet and rum-dominated. Relatively well balanced.

Dag to på Malt&Humle Gladmaten -22, fra fat: uklar brunfarge nesten uten skum. Svisker/sviskeplommer, fiken, sherry, vanilje og lys chokolade. En lekker og vinøs nightcap som fungerte brillefint kl. 13 i solskinnet her i Ledaalparken!
