This beer is defined by a natural marriage of coconut, rum and bourbon which produce aromas of coconut cream pie. Upon the first sip, light notes of honey and spice dance on the tongue before freshly-brewed coffee intertwines with the dominant toasted coconut flavours. The finish has a boozy edge which is softened by vanilla-forward sweetness and oak lactones from both the coconut and 14 months in bourbon & rum barrels.

Aus der Flasche (bbe 09.05.2027) im 2025-04 getrunken. Bei diesen kräftigen Stout zeigt sich das Kokosnuss Aroma sehr dominant. Das Stout erinnert an eibe Kokosmakrone mit viel 60%ige Schokolade. Durch die leicht ölige Textur, hervorrangend eingebundene Alkohol und die deutliche Süße fordert dieses Stout viel Aufmerksamkeit ein und ist kein Bier gegen den Durst. Klasse!

375 ml waxed bottle, at Cardinal, Stavanger. ABV is 12.8%. Black colour, small tan head disappears instantly. Aroma of coconut. lactose, roast malts, coffee, chocolate, fusel, oak, bourbon and rum. Very sweet flavour of coconut, chocolate, rum and bourbon.

Bottle picked up from Drankgigant webshop Vlissingen Netherlands and consumed at home Monday 30th October 2023 listening to Tom Ravenscroft and Deb Grant New Music Fix on 6Music we had Veal, Prawn and Cumin Kebabs with a Shaved Fennel, Pink Radish, and Nasturtium Flowers, Aubergine Rolls, Pea Pastizzi and Winter Tabbouleh. Pours black, oil slick consistency, slim tan head. Lots of chocolate, thickness in the mouth, some coffee and the barrel ageing has definitely made it's mark. Very nice.

Thin with low viscosity, semisweet, boozy. Light roast coffee, coconut, some dark chocolate. With a body this might be very nice.

Panda 🐼 at home thanks to Colin. A thick jet black coloured pour with a dark tan head that fades to a swirl. Aroma is lovely thick chewy dark malts, toasted coconut, tonka, super rich, bourbon, nice dark bounty bar. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, thick smooth dark chocolate, toasted coconut, dark coconut, warming bourbon. Palate is medium sweet, chewy, mellow carbonation. intense stuff.
