Can from a local bottle shop. Yeasty and a bit fruity with citrus, light banana, pale malt, some orange with a mild spicy touch. Some bubble gum. Light bittersweet flavour, medium body. Refreshing and citrussy 'Rye Weizen'.

150ml draft pour at Jopenkerk. Pours cloudy orange with a white head. Aromas & tastes of banana, citrus, orange & hops. Medium body. Sweet light bitter finish. Very enjoyable

Blik 33cl thuis. Rogge, zuurtje, fruitig, citrus, banaan, zacht, carameltonen, bready, kruidnagel, zoeten. (30-3-2024).

(Draught at Gollem Craft Beers Amstelstraat, Amsterdam, 12 Aug 2023) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, spicy nose with notes of rye bread, banana, orange peel, clove and a touch of mint. Malty, spicy taste with orange peel, banan, clove, rye bread and a gentle herbal bitterness. Medium body, with a slight sweetness. Quite inetersting, with both wheat and rye. Nice one.

33 cl. can @ home, bought @ Kulenborgse Bierhandel. Hazy golden with a white head. Spicy aroma with some cloves and banana. Sweet taste with a spicy low to medium bitter finish. Quite full bodied. Interesting beer.

0.33 l can from 'Slijterij Berendsen', best before April 2024. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, malty, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral aroma of banana, clove, honey, nutmeg and light pear. Gently sweet, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and moderately fruity-floral taste of grains, banana, clove, nutmeg, some honey and traces of pear, followed by a short, gently bitter, slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Pleasant beer, pretty much like a Hefeweizen. Still questionable and fairly misleading to label a beer 'rye weizen' if it's brewed without any wheat (malt).
