La Cuvée Ermesinde est une bière ambrée d’environ 19° Plato, titrant 7,5 % alc.vol. Trois variétés de malt, deux types de houblon ainsi qu’une céréale et du miel du pays la composent. Trois épices dont deux exotiques viennent renforcer sa personnalité. Entièrement naturelle, elle est dépourvue de tout additif chimique.

10/IX/2012 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: 2015 (2012-1016)
Little cloudy amber beer, small creamy off-white head, bit adhesive, pretty stable. Aroma: fruity, peaches, sugar, sweet malts, hint of caramel and fudge. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet malty start, quite some caramel, some banana, fruity. Aftertaste: caramel, some overripe fruits, pretty sugary, little bitter.

Hazy murky orange with a small head. Smells slightly soapy, some hops, yeast, some herbs. Tastes sweet, a bit fruity, also a bit ’round’.. A bit flat on the carbo and a medium body. It’s okay but i don’t like it a lot.

33cl bottle @ home shared with DutchDrebus. Cloudy, hazy yellow orange color with yeast particles in it, small white lacing on top. Smells like liquid to do the dishes with, lightly grassy, lightly blossom or flowers and herbs or spices. Weird. Taste malts, some sweetness and even somehow something vaguely reminding me of hops. Low to medium carbonation and body, not enough for an 8%ABV beer imo.

33cl, BB 04/2014. Cuivrée/orangée, col épais blanc qui disparait assez rapidement. Arôme de levure, herbe allant sur camomille, houblon fruité et malt modéré, je trouve à la limite une pointe de gousse de vanille et herbes du midi. En bouche, je retrouve ce profile unique de St Monon, une levure qui se mélange bien à ces épices qui sont souvent reprises dans ces bières. Je note un côté fruité, voire d’épicea, pomme de pin. Malt grillé approchant la torréfaction avec qcq épices, noix de muscade, léger citron pour une amertume agréable. Aspect de sucre brun et une note de coriandre/girofle/mielleux.

Bottlee from bu11zeye. Marked as best by 06/09. Pours with an off-white head and a hazy golden body with good lacing. Aroma of currants, honey caramel and corriander. Taste is caramel with sweet fruits, figs and cherries. Syrupy mouthfeel with light carbonation.
