Once again, your favourite childhood sweets become the inspiration for our latest session sour; Rhubarb & Custard.
Our full-bodied dessert sour combines the fruity tang of rhubarb with luscious, creamy vanilla custard notes. This time we’ve dialled the ABV down to a sessionable 4.2%, while keeping all the flavour of our original release.

Can that my lovely wife gave me - cheers! Pinky-bronze with a white head. Strong taste of rhubarb and custard sweets. The sweetness is balanced by a pleasant tartness, and there's a surprising hint of dry beeriness in the finish. One dimensional, yes, but enjoyable nevertheless.

The Roobarb & Custard children's animation was voiced by Richard Briers. This canned version comes in at 4.7%, sour in style, but with both the ingredients pretty heavy it's also about as sweet as they come.

Can at home in Hackney. ABV noted at 4.7%. Tasty. Not overly sour, nice mellow tart rhubarb, soft berry accents, light lemon. Light bodied with fine, massaging carb. Clean finish, mild acidity. Sound.

На аромат легкая кислинка с йогуртом, ревень есть как некая специя, все это в сливочности или креме, намеки наа ваниль. Цвет приятный, как у йогурта, только мутный, почти нету пены. Вкус такой же, очень много крем брюле со сливочностью, есть ревень как специя, немного ванили, даже намеки на дыню. соответственно йогуртность, так популярна для этой пивоварни. Хороший саур, хотя хочется большей глубины.

Cloudy pink with a creamy white head. Light, tart fruity aroma. Flsvour has sharp rhubarb, some vanilla, a little sherbet. Lingering tartness, nice and fruity.

4.7% version. Red/orange (rhubarb), cloudy pour with a decent white, lasting head. Aromas of rhubarb, custard, vanilla, cream/milk. Taste is similar with a slightly sour finish. It is what it says on the label - quite nice as a dessert.

4.7 % version on tap at BrewDog Seven Dials. Rhubarb and blackberry aroma. Pippiness. Harry is right. Some sourness. It's exactly what it is. Like my mom's blackcurrant and apple pie. Anyway I liked it.
