Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of nuts and roasted grains. Mildly bitter. Lingering notes of Earl Grey. Medium bodied, clean and crisp finish. Good.

0.33 l bottle from 'Bierothek', best before May 2024. Hazy, deep amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, a bit fruity aroma of caramel, leaves, some orange and traces of black tea. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, a bit fruity-floral taste of caramel, orange, nuts, leaves, traces of tea and light rubber, followed by a short, rather bitter, moderately dry finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very mediocre stuff, even a bit off. The tea seems to add bitterness only rather than aroma, unlike so many other and better tea-flavored beers I tried in the past. I really like tea in beer, but this is just disappointing.

Leicht karamelliger, dunkel getreidiger Beginn. Spritzig, vollmundig, gut! 9/11/11/10//11
