Slightly golden colour, extraordinary white head.
We detect the soury smell of the Maracuja (passion fruit).
Thanks to the sourness of the Maracuja, this beer is an excellent thirst-quencher during summer. And because of the freshness, this low-alcohol beer can also be served as an aperitif.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a white head. Has a sweetish fruity passion fruit aroma. Sweetish malty passion fruit flavor with some weak tart hints. Has a sweetish fruity passion fruit finish.

Bottle. Pours pale pinkish amber, hazy and full of particles, medium pink-white fizzy head that dissipates quickly and leaves no lacing. Aroma and taste are pure passionfruit through and through, including the sweet and sour notes. This is ok, mainly because I like passionfruit, but it is not really a beer in my opinion, more like a malt beverage.

June 2010: 330ml brown bottle with purple labels and purple foil around the neck, bought as a joke by a friend. The bottle was poured into a ’Corsendonk’ stemmed tulip glass. Looked lagerish, or a pale English bitter in colour, the head however was off-white, not the pure snow of a lager. The label says passion and that is what you get, in the nose anyway, loads of it. Nothing else can get through the aroma of passion fruit, good job I like the smell. Guess what it tastes of? Yip, passion fruit, very sweet up front, then a sourness hits you almost straight away after the initial sip. The sourness is lemon and lime flavour and stays in the mouth long after the first hints of sweetness have departed. Then slowly a semi-sickly feeling appears from the mouthfeel, very strange and not too pleasant. Add cooking apples into the flavour mix and you have just about got the measure of the tastes it gives off. Different for sure, but not a beer I’ll be trying again, nor offering friends. I can’t really knock the beer, it is what it claims to be, a beer flavoured with passion fruit, most likely syrup enhanced, but who am I to say that is wrong?

Clear gold beer. Semi dry crisp palate. Sharp tart passion fruit and not much else! Crisp sharp finish. Unaplogetically fruity! Don’t believe the snobbery - this is alright!

33cl bottle. Pours a golden colour with very gentle bubbles and not much head. The nose has ’passoinfruit’ I guess. The taste is of more very sharp passionfruit and not much hint of barley. The palate is medium in structure with very high acidity and the sharpness continues into the finish. Overall, not my bag, the mango was much more pleasant!

Enjoyed at a Belgian-style bar in Doha, Qatar. Best before March 2012. This one, out of the 4 Floris I tried, had the smallest head, but still, creamy and decent lasting. Its colour was golden and just barely hazy. Wow... what a powerful nose of passion fruits. It does calm down a bit later. Medium-bodied and pretty refreshing. Starts with a mild sweet fruity taste of passion fruits and has a nice little sourness to it. Overall a nice summer fruity beer.

Bottle@bar: watery passion fruit/orange colour, tasted like some kind of weird passion fruit drink/watered down juice mixed with bad beer with the latter one being mostly noticeable in the aftertaste, there was no harmony between the two, they were like 2 separate drinks thrown together, very messy & gimmick gone wrong, did have a nice passion fruit smell
