0.33 l bottle from 'EDEKA Schwörer' (Endingen), best before March 2026. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, moderately fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy aroma of grains, some straw and light lemon peel. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, gently fruity-floral and a bit grassy-spicy taste of grains, straw, some lemon peel and hints of honey, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a little dry finish. Thin to medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Decent brew, fairly quaffable.

12 September 2020. At Zur Alten Brauerei, Ettenheim. Shared with the lovely Anke! Hazy golden with a slowly diminishing, frothy, white head. Aroma of barnyard, farmland, cow fodder, yeast, apple peel, dust. Taste has sweet maltiness of apple peel yet mostly cow fodder & wort too, vaguely sourish & a bit spicy. Yeasty, malty, grainy finish. Light body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Doesn't really taste right. They served it as the 'Hieronymus Pils' but I think that's an error as it's effectively too dusty and 'Unfiltriert'.

This is what I call a good pilsener! Swing top bottle. Orange gold color, cloudy with chunks of yeast. Citrus and anis in the aroma. Hoppy flavor with anis, citrus, mint and vanilla. Hopbitter aftertaste.

Thanks to kevnic2008 for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest yeasty. Fine spicy notes, a bit wheaty. Finish well balanced, light lemon touch. Not bad!

330ml bottle [The bearer of this beer is not an "Hero anonymus", it’s bartlebier - thank you very much!]. Cloudy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with small, frothy, diminishing, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy aroma shows typical marks of unfilteredness, a "soggy" protein note, a very cautious touch of lactic acid. Taste is minimally tart, grainy, soggy, a touch of protein, some bitter hoppy overtones. Anaemic and slightly watery. Somehow with potential, could be useful as framework for experimental variations.

Medium body, but the hops are lean. Not bad, but I would like this less sweet, a little hoppier, and maybe a little lighter.
