440ml can from Waitrose, Chester. Hazed dull dark brown, medium off-white head. Aroma of nutty malt, chocolate. Taste seems somewhat subdued, some mild chocolate notes, nutty hints, soft malt, but lacks a bold hop presence. Bit disappointing.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Aroma combines sweet citrus with a herbal streak and dark berries. Opaque dark cola brown. Frothy light beige head. Medium bitter. Coffee and herbs. Resin streak. Sugary sweet caramelised fruit underbelly. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Slips down. Good stuff.

Interesting on cask. The bitterness almost tastes more akin to a stout bitterness than a black IPA, and with a full hop flavor also.
