Im Glas präsentiert sich dieses Helle klar und goldgelb mit schöner feiner Perlage. Die weiße, feinporige Schaumkrone hält dabei sehr gut. Die Duftaromatik gestaltet sich ganz typisch, getreidig-malzig und leicht floral bis honigartig. Der Antrunk kommt sanftspritzig, süßlich, getreidig-malzig und hält im Hintergrund eine zartherbe Note bereit. Am Gaumen zeigt sich ein sehr getreidiger Malzkörper, dem eine leichte Säure und Herbe im Hintergrund beiwohnt. So ergibt sich ein relativ einfach gehaltenes Helles, welches man aber durchaus als okay bezeichnen darf. Man muss es ja nicht übertreiben. Immerhin sind Mundgefühl und Süffigkeit durchaus gut. Im Nachtrunk halten die Malznoten gut an. Danach wird es ganz zart trocken herb. Mein Fazit: ganz klassisch, unkompliziert, voll okay!

Appearance: clear pale gold with a large white frothy head of good retention. Aroma and taste: clean & crisp. Nice malt, spicy hop, honey. Light sweet and bitter. Mouth feel: light to medium body, appropriate carbonation. Overall: decent.

Tap at TapHouse, Copenhagen, 25th October 22. Pours a clear light straw colour. Aroma is straw and fresh grass. Taste is clean and sweetish, malts are there, but light, hay and grass. Not bad

500 ml bottle, as Weltenburger Kloster Hell, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 4.9%. Clear and pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of floral hops, some grain in the background. The flavour is slightly citric with moderate floral and herbal hops.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from the Hereford Beer House. Pours totally clear yellow with a creamy, white topping. Lightly sweet with simple, crispy cereal, a little hay, nips of dough, white bread, soft minerality. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Decent balance to finish, more basic crispy pale grains, cereal, pale bread, light bitter straw. Drinks fine overall.
