Tap at the Marvila taproom. Usually not a fan of lactose in pale beers but this somehow seemed the rare exception. It’s not overly sweet or cloying yet definitely feels thicker in body. There’s some bitterness in the finish even, and the hop character is not overruled with the lactose nonsense either. Feels unnatural but I quite liked this.

Tap at Beergeek Bar. Hazy golden body, off-white head. Slightly tart, citric aroma, light veggies. Citric, jammy taste, honeyish slightly. Eeeh, oxidized slightly?

Tap at Dois Corvos Intendente, Lisbon, 12th December 23. Pours an orange haze. Aroma is sweet, floral. Taste is aromatic, sweet, candy, lactose is mucking with it, would be better without it, OK

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21C / 31B: lactose). Can 44 cl - Batch L100S 0708 (BB 0524). AROMA: medium hop aroma with notes of pine, grapefruit, ripe melon. medium sweet background of malt with a neutral character. APPEARANCE: light orange body and hazy with slight larger particles in suspension. medium-low white head with medium-low to low retention. TASTE: medium-high hop flavor (pine, melon, slight grapefruit), followed by a medium sweet background of neutral malt. slight flour flavor. medium-high bitterness with a semi-dry and slightly bitter finish that balances the sweetness. MOUTHFEEL: medium-high body. medium carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth and slight heavy sensation. OVERALL: an OK hazy IPA with some appearance issues with added lactose that seems it reduced a bit its drinkability.

Tap. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is fruity, apricot, biscuity, dank. Taste is the same, dank and juicy, but not exactly my flavour profile. Juicy-creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Alright.
