Ein Halvtørr Sprudlande Eplesider. Discovery- og aromaepler Sprudlande Harding er laga på tradisjonelt vis med bruk av eigenkultivert naturgjær som vert tatt vare på frå år til år. Dei økologiske epla vert pressa til juice etter 0-4 vekers ettermodning alt etter modningsgrad og eplesort. Det vert tilsett noko økologisk sukker for å oppnå den ønska alkoholstyrken - og resten er opp til gjærstamma. Ført tapping vert sideren filtrert, blanda og forsiktig karbonert for å sikra haldbarheit og den rette balanserte og friske smaken.

Tap @ Patricks. Clear, pale golden body without any head. Aroma is rather clean apple with a faint hint of yeast. Taste is medium sweet apple, hint of yeast and alcohol but all over a rather clean and straight forward cider. Medium body with a slightly sweeter aftertaste than first impression. Alcohol is well-hidden.

Nov. 2020: 750 ml clear bottle, from Vinmonopolet Odda. ABV is 7.5%. Clear and very pale golden colour, pours sparkling with a small white head. Fresh aroma of apples, spicy notes, hints of honey. Flavour mid between dry and sweet. Notes of apples, spicy hints. Bottle, 75cl. Shared by gunnfryd. A clear pale golden cider, still looking. The aroma has lots of apples, both fresh apples and baked apples, with grass hints, yellow plums, a faint funky hint and some flowery notes. It's medium to full bodied, with a soft carbonation. Semi-sweet. The flavor has a pleasant funkyness, with some lemony, leathery notes. Apple, grass, baked apple, some generic fruityness and even more apples in the flavor. Long apple driven finish. A very pleasant one, tasteful and easy drinkable. 210131

Vi feirer at vi er trygt tilbake i Vågen etter Fridtjofens Hardangertokt! 0,75 flaske fra produsenten. Egen eplehøst med kun økologiske epler, i hovedsak Discovery og Aroma. Spontangjæring. Klar gylden med lett perlende munnføelse. Hint av stall/høy og halvvisne solvarme sommerblomster (pga spontangjæringen?) i den solide og komplekse eplesmaken. en sider (og produsent!) med personlighet. Deilig fruktsødme i ettersmaken. en av de desidert beste på hele toktet. Forget cava, prosecco and so on - go for world class ciders from Hardanger!

Bottle shared with Holmen1 and JFE on board Fridtjofen 16.08.20. Clear pale straw colour. No head. Excellent and interesting aroma and taste of cider apples, barnyards and a hint of perry. A very drinkable cider with a strong personality.
