Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen 29.04.16. Clear golden. Dense and persistent head and lacing. Aroma and taste of honey and moderate European or English hops. Also some pale malt and crystal malt. Very quaffable!

Flaske delt med Ovesen ombord på Fridtjofen: kobbergylden med fint skum som varer. Høstblomster, løv og urter i aromaen. I smaken finner jeg også en felikat honningsødme. Avstemt bitterhet hele veien. En riktig god esb.

Flaske 500ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Sentrum. Drukket på Lillehøgda påsken -16. Gylden. Middels høyt & luftig skum som daler sakte. God maltaroma med hint av karamell. Smaken balansert. Mest karamell. Litt syrlig etter hvert.

500ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. One-finger pearl white head resting over a near-clear golden-brown body. Lacing rings down the glass. Pleasant smell of banana, tobacco and earth. Developing taste profile of mid-sweet fruits joined by toffee and earth offset by a drying bittersweet ending. Medium bodied. Likable (Tromsø 18.03.2016).

Gylden brun klar med høyt tykt eggegult skum. Lukter karamell, kandis og maltekstrakt. Middels fylde. Bitter brent karamell i smak. Noe metallisk i avslutningen.

Bottle at home - 05/08/12. Pours to a clear amber colour with a slightly off-white thinnish head. Malt, caramel and a little hop on the nose. Taste wise there is a wheaty/grainy flavour, hops, and a background sweetness, perhaps honey? Decent enough mouthfeel and carbonation. Nowt special!
