Bottle at the Hepworth stall at MasterChef Live, Olympia Centre, London. Pours gold with a small, white head. Has a sweet malt aroma with hints of caramel. Medium sweet flavor, toffee, light fruits, slight herbal bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Mild bitter finish, slight leaves, caramel malts, mild bread. Nice beer.

500 mL bottle and the Nook. Pours dark orange with a thin but persistent head. The aroma is apples, some nutty notes, and orange and pine hops. The flavor is a measured and subtle bitterness, with roasted malt sweetness in the front. The palate is medium, fairly carbonated, and a little astringent. A good, flavorful bitter.

A hoppy ale with plenty of lingering dry hop bitterness but not a lot of hop fruit. Dissapointing!

500 ml bottle purchased at The Wine and Cheese Place in St Louis, Missouri. Pour is hazed orange golden with an off white one inch head that falls slowly with decent lacing. Aroma is big toasty malt, very much baking bread along with a nice underlying aroma of citrus honey hops. Taste is the earthy toasty breadiness of the malt, along with a mineral, almost spicy floral aspect. Interesting flavor. Palate is thin to medium, higher level of fine carbonation and a crisp finish. Quite easy to drink.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Pours amber with an off-white head. The nose has a little sweet caramel. Medium body, sweet caramel and a little fruit and a rather hoppy finish. A very decent ESB. 170910

500ml bottle. Amber-orange color. Steady soapy off-white head. Clean English Ale aroma, light hops. Mellow and creamy, soft carbonation. Very balanced, with a biscuity malt body and a steady, but never overly intense, hop flavor. I get some deep caramel malt notes, not unlike a nut brown, in the finish. A nice session beer, well done.
