Hazy blond color. The aroma is light; the flavor has at least some light pleasant cereals; low bitterness. Simple.

Lightly hazy golden pour, with a faint ring of lace - a fairly straightforward, clean, crisp, and refreshing german lager - a bit grassy up front, followed by a moderate honey sweetness - then, the noble hops really kick in, and add a nice floral, and almost spicy dimension to the beer - a bit of grainy character in the finish, and lingering, peppery hops - quite refreshing - another underrated german lager - what a shock!

Nice slightly hazy golden coloured body with a frothy white head - tons of bubbles rise from the bottom as well, which makes for a nice look! Aroma of refreshing malt, citrus, yeast, wheat and some fresh cut grass. Medium-bodied; Very fruity citrus flavours roaming through this one with a bit of a floral essence and finishes with a clean malt - very nice. Aftertaste is crisp and refreshing, not much hops, but plenty of smooth malt. Overall, a nice and potent helles good for the summertime without doubt! I sampled this 500 mL swing-top bottle purchased from K&E Discount Beverage in New Paltz, New York on 26-April-2008.
