Oh, Nuts! we did it again…Our collaboration stouts with @otherhalfnyc have always been pretty nutty with indulgently excessive treatments, but we really took it to another level this time! Over the top additions of peanuts, almonds, hazelnuts along with Madagascar vanilla beans and milk sugar come together for a flavor experience any NYC cart vendor wishes they could fit in a bag.

Oh, Nuts! Imperial stout pours a lusciously thick dark brown with creamy carbonation. Bringing the glass to the nose calls to mind freshly roasted hazelnuts followed by notes of crispy peanut-almond brittle, and vanilla mousse. The palate seamlessly layers flavors of peanut butter cups and hazelnut cookies with almond bars and vanilla soft-serve. Oh, Nuts! drinks with a viscously satisfying mouthfeel and heavenly sweet finish balanced by a formative malt backbone of rich complexity.

Panda courtesy of Theydon_Bois, cheers Colin! Black colour, thin beige rim and aroma of rich malt, roasted, dark chocolate, hazelnut, almonds. Taste is sweet, chocolatey malt, roasty, coffee, nutty, peanut, almond, dried fruit, sultana, with earthy bitterness. Smooth, full bodied, soft carbonation, drying roasty malty bitter finish. Very sippable.

Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, good bubbly tan head. Smooth and airy palate, a very mild dryness, good fine carbonation. Soft rich dark malts, redolent with good fruity dark chocolate, some raisin and biscuit vibe before a very pleasant nutty vibe kicks in, smooth but rich and savoury, none of your normal nutty grit here. Smooth finish brings a mild amount of coffee. The overall effect is a the feeling of a rather luxurious dark chocolate fruit and nut bad that has been turned into a liqueur. Juicy choco nut finish. Works for me and works splendiferously!

Bottle shared with others. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of of hazelnut and roast with dark grains and a bit of peanut coming through. Flavor has peanut and dark grains with some chocolate and hazelnut growing.

500 ml bottle thanks to ClarkVV on the share. Aroma is soft hazelnut and mild peanuts. The flavor is quite delightful. Doesn’t get overly sweet for my palate. It does resemble chocolate covered roasted peanuts.

Bottle (2/22) pour shared by ClarkVV. It's an opaque black with nice viscosity, ring of beige head and no lacing. Aroma is strong roasted malt, vanilla, lactose and nuts. Taste is strong peanut, hazelnut, vanilla, lactose, molasses. Mouthfeel is medium side of light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, good strength and balance. Doesn't get too sweet. Wonderful dessert sipper!

500mL bottled 3/11/22, drunk 7/2/22. Dark ebony, undetermined clarity, no head. Peanut shells, chocolate, salt, more peanuts. Maybe some ash and bitter cacao. Lactose kind of dulls things. Almond skin in there as well. Not bad, a bit heavy-handed on the peanut, for sure. Soft, VERY sweet. Wow, that's a lot of multiple types of sugar. Man, I just get so much lactose, it dominated for me. I like peanuts but this is just too sugary. I like the prune and molasses and there's decent acidity but yeah too sweet for me.
