Brewed with the crowned Prince of UK lager brewing; Donzoko we bring you a Dark Lager to warm you in these cold winter months. Pilsner malt makes a light and sweet body whilst Vienna and Cara malts provide subtle bitterness and red berry coffee flavour. An addition of German Mittelfrüh hops accentuate that fruity coffee element and whisk subtle liquorice flavours across your nose and tongue at the same time giving you little dry finish.

Can. Color: Very dark brown, beige head. Aroma: Malty and hoppy, hints of.coffee and licorice. Taste: Again malty and hoppy at the same time, notes of fruity coffee beans, hints of licorice. Very light hints of milk chocolate, nougat, fudge. Medium body, average carbonation. Light bitter and light sweet. Ok.

Can from Valhalla's Goat. Pours deep dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of liquorice, blackcurrant. Brown bread and cocoa taste. Fruity finish.

440ml can, online from Red Elephant, Truro. Pours dark brown towards black with a beige cap. Aroma: dark malts, light roast, liquorice, light chocolate. Taste: light sweet & bitter, soft, dark fruits, light smoke, cocoa. Medium body with moderate carbonation. Very tidy.

Can from House Of Trembling Madness. Black body with a beige head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of chocolate, rust and caramel. Flavour of wood and cocoa with a berry finish. Medium body with a smooth texture. Soft fizz. Clean and subtle. A lovely beer.

440ml can. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of dark malts, roast, liquorice. Taste is sweet, malty, dark fruits, liquorice, meaty smoke, roast malts, mild bitterness.

Can at home, 1st January 2021. Pours a black lager, some head. Aroma is coffee, malts, coffee. Taste is roasted malts, coffee, quite complex and interesting. Really good
