Madrí Excepcional is a unique collaboration between the brewers of La Sagra and Molson Coors, with all the taste characteristics of a modern European lager. Full of flavour and aroma at 4.6% ABV with a light golden colour, Madrí Excepcional is crisp, clean and refreshing with a short, bitter finish.

[66cl bottle from my local Co-Op, looking for a 50th Spanish rating, but found this instead.] A standard Euro lager, straw coloured with a loose white head; grainy aroma; quite soapy in the mouth with some herbal notes and a grainy body; then some herbal bitterness to close. Instantly forgettable.

Can from depths of the fridge, how it got there, who knows - yellow, little head. Corn, grain, sugary. Cold.

Bottle at the school before watching middle daughter give a presentation on octopi, camouflage and art. It was brilliant, she won her year group and bagged a trophy and 100 quid. I was very proud and very impressed with her. Much more than this beer which had a strong corn taste and it didn't do it for me. Its a beer.

473ml can. Pours a crystal clear gold with a medium, foamy, long lasting, white head that laces nicely. Sweet aroma of bready wheat malt, red apple and floral hops. Sweet flavour of grainy wheat malt, red apple and grassy hops in a dry, mild bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and average carbonation. I really wanted to hate on this, but it's pretty solid as far as Pale Lagers go. Refreshing and crushable.

Mokry karton, mokre zboże, kukurydza. Barwa złota, piana trwała, ładny lacing. Goryczka bardzo niska, ziołowa. Przyciężkawe, da się wypić ale lepiej coś innego.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a small, white head. Malty nose. Medium body, unrefined maltiness with some cereal accents. Surprisingly decent bitterness doesn't conceal the fact, that this is a very little exceptional Pale Lager. 050324

33 cl. Bottle @ the apartment on Tenerife, bought in a small supermarket. Clear golden with a white head. Grainy, sweet, low bitter, watery. Boring. Next.

Keg half-pint on 9th January 2024, mid-afternoon in Albert's Shed, Telford Town Centre. Decent enough golden lager, clean, clear and bright; on top a snow white crust that tried to stay around for a while. It's malty and fairly dry, no a lot of hop action. Had it before but mistakenly rated it as Madri Pilsner, removed that rating now.
