Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Aroma is resinous hops, roasted malt, pine resin, orange, some liquorice and booze. Flavour is moderate sweet and medium bitter with a heavy and boozy conclusion. Above medium body. Big, heavy, bittersweet. A bit much, but yeah what a beer.

440ml can, thanks to AshtonMcCobb. Pours black with a small white head. Aromas & tastes of berries, toffee, liquorice, alcohol & caramel malts. Medium body. Dry light bitter finish with hints of the high alcohol content. Obviously well made but really not for me

440ml can. Opaque, darkest brwon colour with weak ruby shimmer and minimally late awakening, average, thick, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Condensed, resinous, hoppy and chocolately, slightly roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of resin, some orange zest, candied orange peel. Taste is sweet-ish and roasty, chocolately, dark malty, resinous and citrusy fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, orange flavoured dark chocolate, some coffee, mandarine, orange zest; increasing, pungent hop bitterness dominates the finish, joined by a minimally warming, alcoholic touch. Full body, creamy, oily texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry and slightly pungent as well as minimally cloying palate, fine, osft, mildly prickly carbonation. Rich, intense and (partially) condensed, balanced and relatively drinkable,

440ml can. Pours black with a beige head. Aroma of pine, resin, roast malts, citrus peel. Taste is very rich, resinous, piney, chocolate, roast malt, dark berry fruits, citrus, toffee/caramel, gentle warming booze. Full bodied. Remarkably good Quad BIPA especially considering the insane strength of it.

Well expected this to be a heavy black ipa, well it’s not… has some liquorice, chocolade, toasted malts, lots of whisky flavours( not sharp), has definitely a high abv, however i think it’s a bit subdued, the abv pushes all the bipa characteristics aside

Can from Westhill Service Station. Shared with my bro. It pours black with a decent beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, earthy, dull tobacco, liquorice, cacao, dried fruits and some meatiness. The taste is slick, smooth, fulsome, bitter - sweet, bitterness lingers, toothy, chewy, liquorice, toasted spice, resinous, toasted pine, dark fruits, fruit & nut chocolate, tar and earth with a drying finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. Flavourful stuff.
