Fiddler's Elbow is a wonderfully refreshing beer brewed with wheat, malt and hopped with Styrian Goldings. It has an earthy hop aroma balanced by juicy malt, with a tart citric fruit flavour & a long quenching hoppy finish.

Orange color, quite big off-white head. Ashy, yeasty, flowery hoppy nose. Lemony-honeyish sweet flavor, some citrusy bitterness in the finish. Soft wheaty palate. Quite typical drinkable but boring Wychwood-product - usually label is the most interesting part of the beer.

Pours light amber into an English pint. Off-white pancake head slowly recedes. Sour lemon and beer mung aromas. Creamy caramel with a crisp hop finish. Maybe a little mild, but enjoyable nonetheless.

500 ml brown bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.2%. Deep golden colour, moderate head, leaves a nice lacing. Pleasant nutty and moderately hoppy aroma with notes of toffee and caramel. Flavour has decent hops throughout, hints of burnt caramel but the beer is not sweet (fairly dry, actually). Not a bad beer this one.

(500 ml bottle at Haket, Göteborg) Slightly shady golden color, white head. Fruity acid and bitter hoppy scent. Spicy and bitter taste. A bit sweet aftertaste. Higher/better than "normal" mouthfeel.

Pour is a amber with a white head. Aroma is caramel malts with some dark fruits. Flavor is medicinal with some plum and citrus. Nothing really stands out and it leaves a sour taste in the mouth. Just so-so good enough for a rating.

Golden body with nice bubbles and some foam. Sweet fruity aroma. The flavour is also dominated by hoppy fruitiness wtih some notes of sweet, dark malts. Crispated. Not bad, but very standard (Sampled at Tromsø Ølfestival 17.08.2006).

Nose ofcramel malt with some fruitiness; orange color with a small white head and large bubbles for the carbonation; spicy malt flavor with some hop bitterness that lingered into the aftertaste.

Bottle picked up from the brewery with a range of other beers in a mixed case pack. Pours an orangey colour, some hops a little bit fruity but has that distinctive Wychwood taste that makes many of theirs a bit of a one size fits all.
