Roast, appelstroop en drop. Beetje de gebruikelijke combi tegenwoordig. Whisky is subtiel. Ok spul, niks mis mee, maar ik loop niet de polonaise. Omdat ik weet dat het zoveel beter kan. Vroeger. Snif

Bottle: As black as expected, medium-sized stable and loose tanned head, moderate sweet-bitter aroma of toasty/roasty malt and dried black berries, nutty traces included, vanilla and wood hardly detectable; moderate to solid sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied and soft; lingering sweet coffeeish- malty and fruity, later - mainly in the aftertaste - bitter finish. Well made, not overly demanding Stout...

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have quite a lot of dried fruit sweetness. Also fairly roasty. Nice but too thin bodied.

Virtually black with a thin, beige head. Very mild whiskey aroma. A dash of chocolate and roasted grains. Overall a subpar aroma for an impy. Taste though is a hit: full of sweet fudge balanced balanced by a mild roasted bitterness. Very nice. Body is medium, carbonation is mild, texture slightly watery. Overall, pleasant.

Bottle. Almost black. Caramel and a hint of roast in the aroma and flavor. Sweet with hints of licorice and whisky. Full bodied, some alcohol. Smooth!

Bottle shared in CBC - London. Cheers to Mad Mitchell. Pours clear, deep brown, with a frothy tan head. Really tasty, has notes of fudge, earth, dried berries, chocolate. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light alcohol warmth. Nice one.
