Keg at Beer & Burger, Willesden Green, London. A black coloured pour with a medium beige head on top that lasts quite a while. Lovely rich, chocolate, raspberry aroma. Tastes rich, chocolate, raspberry, slight sweetness, some caramel and salt. Lovely stuff, glad I made the trip to NW2.

Bottle. Alesela. Not far off black. Thin, dense, clingy, lacing, tan head. Leggy and viscous. Looks great. Nose has Raspberry Ruffle chocolate bars. Fresh, ripe raspberry. Salty chocolate. Everything you’d expect, really, with nice restraint. Taste is super fruity, and tangy. Some salinity. Smooth, silky palate. Never feels 10%. Finish has a nice, raspberry tang, with a chocolatey sweet close. Cracking dessert beer.

Bottle from a swap from Beersiveknown, many thanks Steve! First thing - no alcohol noticeable. Then there are things that ARE noticeable. And there is a lot. Chocolate, caramel, raspberry. Also a bit of salt. It does justice to every word it states on the label. I will not go any further. It just really is fucking good.

0,5l bottle shared at Bratislava Evening Tasting. BB 12/2016. black color, small tan head. smells parfumy, licorice, earthy, hints of coffee, okish smell, was expecting a bit more. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes rather strongly of raspberry, licorice, some coffee, bit earthy, vanilla. finishes strongly with raspberries, light earthy, light licorice. overall good beer, a bit weird though and not so much my thing, i need some more roast in my imp stouts, but overall very unique and very interesting.

At a tasting, dark brown color, small bubbly brown head, raspberry woody aroma, flavor like a raspberry filled chocolate, quite sweet but balanced by a light pleasant bitterness and sournesss, also a hint of saltiness Very nice and quite different, not too complicated.
