Hazy golden colour, lots of white foam. Lots of carbonation. Dry, citrussy, some mango. Easy drinkable and refreshing.

Huge, fluffy white head over very pale yellow, big-bubbled beer. Faintly spicy/herbal nose, faintly sweetish-creamy. Spicy, dry citrus/lemonpeel, straw; bit earthy, dried or bit old spicepowder. Bit too dry to be refreshing, but fine enough, good carbonation, very slick, light body. Nice, amusing. Txs to Stef!

Pours a hazy yellow (witbier like) with a huge white head. Scent is spicy by the rye, fairly silent on the hops for a session IPA. Robust impressions. Taste is sharp, bit bitter, rye rawness, feels a bit green though. high carbonation over a thinner body. doesn't feel very finished... not the best DOK to be honest.

22 August 2023. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Shared with the lovely Anke!

A: hazy yellow, stable, frothy, white head.
A: guava, starfruit, cereal, bread crust, citrus zest.
T: sour starfruit, sweetish peach, cereal, rye, dry bread.
F: grassy hops, unripe tropical fruit, spicy rye.
P: medium body, slick texture, average to fizzy carbonation.
Strong rye profile but still easygoing as a Session IPA.

Rye session IPA with Citra, Sabro and ('cryo') Azacca, can from De Hopduvel. Gusher, unpourable without filling the glass with foam; the result is a towering high, egg-white, bath foam-like, rocky, tightly cobweb-lacing head, very slowly diminishing over a hazy straw blonde beer with pale beige-ish tinge. Aroma - if initially blocked by that huge amount of foam - of moist white pepper, dry white bread crust, wormwood leaves, dried grapefruit peel, clove, green apple peel, hints of white soap, unripe banana and unsugared chewing gum. Fruity onset in a dryish way, unripe banana again, some green pear and light unripe pineapple perhaps, medium carbonated with refreshing minerally effects lingering through a cereally pale malt graininess with added (dimly spicy) graininess from the rye. Retronasal aromas of grapefruit peel, wormwood and green bitter weeds, coupled with a long-lasting drying and earthy hop bitterness, dominating the finish but matching well with the spiciness from the rye. Dry, quenching and well-made apart from that exaggerated foam development during pouring - but certainly a kind of oldskool session IPA I can enjoy.

Cloudy pale whitish yellow beer, creamy white head, stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: fruity, tropical fruits, some citrus, nice and fruity. Mf: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: nice, citrus notes, good bitterness, grapefruit, a bit resinous. Aftertaste: bitter, hoppy, resins, fruity, a bit spicy, more citrus, pretty fruity, nice!
